Drawing
I've done figure drawing a couple of days this week, I did my 10 figures in the sessions and I think the advice from the videos about "drawing motion, not contour" is the one that I don't quite know how to bring. When they refine contours it is clear they're integrated into the motion but I worry mine are clunky, even when I reduce the amount of lines. I also did some doodling for fun (drew some creatures that looked like moomin versions of us doing things with A), and I painted when I wanted to do something with my hands, even if it's not experimental or daring.
Japanese
I managed to do the Kanji schedule on my tablet after some prodding. It turns out that when you follow a system of spaced repetition and barely touch your schedules for two weeks, the amount of piled up terms is a little overwhelming. It's a new point of friction. Part of me thinks that maybe the block is to do with my deeper fear of the challenge and that I should sit and really take a look at what's stopping me, the part of me that has learned anything from therapy tells me to just sit down and do the exercises instead of overthinking. I guess it's obvious which one I'm listening to :(
